A private, offline shelf for the books you are reading, finishing, and saving for later.
This notice describes how SpinWinera treats your information when you use the app. It is written in plain language so you can read it the way you would read a short letter from a careful editor.
The headline is brief: your reading life stays on your device. SpinWinera is a quiet desk; nothing leaves it without you.
SpinWinera remembers what you choose to write into it: the books on your shelf, your reading progress, your notes about a chapter, the tags you sort by, your display name, and your gentle daily page goal. All of these live on the device as ordinary app storage and never travel.
The app may use a basic device identifier to keep your local preferences working between launches. The identifier is used on the device, for the device, and nowhere else.
What we do not keep: account credentials, email or phone, contacts, photographs you have not added, calendar entries, location, advertising profile, or any record of which other apps you use.
The information you enter is used to draw your shelf, the heat map, the monthly chart on the stats screen, and the milestones in your profile. It is also used to keep your settings honest between launches — the layout you prefer, your daily page goal, your default sort order. That is the full list.
Forever, as long as SpinWinera is installed and you do not delete it. There is no expiry, no audit, no archive elsewhere. If you delete a book from the shelf, its reading sessions and any notes go with it.
You may remove individual books and sessions at any time from within the app. You may change your name, your avatar, your page goal, and your display preferences from the settings and profile screens. Uninstalling the app removes everything SpinWinera held on your device.
If you would like a copy of your reading life to keep or move elsewhere, Settings → Your data → Export my library writes a plain backup file and passes it to your device's share sheet. The export is created only when you ask for it, contains only what you entered, and travels only to the destination you pick. SpinWinera never sends it anywhere on its own.
SpinWinera is intended for general audiences who enjoy reading. The app does not request, gather, or store information identifying any user as a minor. If you are a guardian and would like to use SpinWinera alongside a young reader, the same on-device principles apply.
SpinWinera has no advertising. No measurement layer is bolted on. The app you see is the whole product — there is nothing watching from the margins.
If a future version of SpinWinera changes how the app handles information on your device, this page will be revised to reflect the new behavior. The revision date below is the simplest way to tell whether anything has changed since you last read it.
